What is Pic of the Litter?

We are Pat Hubinger, Deb Hubert and Becky Stambaugh,
a “mother/daughter(s)” team who love to
redesign, rearrange, and recreate.

We feel passionately about reviving, recycling, then UPcycling lost pieces,
and have been living green for many years now.
Our homes are furnished with forgotten
and discarded furniture that simply needed a little TLC.

Join us on our journey as we help make our world a place
where the old doesn’t always need to be replaced with the new,
but can share its wisdom,
character and beauty for years to come.

Our pages are littered with pics of pieces
from yard sales, a friend’s attic, the family garage, the back of our closets,
and the scrap fabric heap in Pat’s laundry room.

All of these pieces have been given new life by us.

So, allow us to bring our upcycled garage sale to you!

Deb (Dee Dee) Hubert, Pat Hubinger, and Becky Stambaugh

Pat Hubinger

Pat (Mom) is a prolific artist. At 85, she still wakes up every morning needing to create something. Her life’s artwork has included every medium: woodwork and building, knitting & crocheting, sewing & designing, painting & sketching, pottery and jewelry…the list goes on.

Here, you’ll find her original works, and also some inspired by her favorite artists like Mackenzie-Childs and Leoma Lovegrove. Her art spans decades.

Deb (Dee Dee) Hubert

Dee Dee got the ‘seamstress’ gene from Pat, and spent much of her adult life making her own clothes, (including her bridesmaids’ dresses!). She’s now moved on to Halloween costumes, painted sneakers for the grandkiddoes, and lawn ornaments…not to mention raiding Pat’s fabric scraps to make ‘buggy bags’ for Pat’s walker to hold her iced tea, phone, charger, and multitude of contraptions (we always did say that Pat was a bag lady).

Becky Stambaugh

Becky continues in Pat’s footstep, at least with sketching and painting. One of her earliest memories is Pat making her get out of the car during ‘Pick up’ day in local towns to grab a chair or a table from the side of the road…usually when the owner was still standing in the yard adding to their garbage heap.
